I would like that to be the case, but it isn't. With the playoff being more forgiving to a loss, I think the coaches could get players to recover from the loss over two weeks a lot easier.

while i agree 100% with this, i also believe it has to do with our head coach tucking his tail in afterwards as well.

i've been a les supporter for years and have gotten into many arguements with lsu fans regarding les and his early and continued success, but that is all slipping slowly. it feels like he puts all the eggs into the bama basket as well, as does the entire fanbase and everything around LSU and louisiana. all things point to the bama game....and when we lose, everything gets sucked out of the program.
