I had mine out in November on 2013. Supposed to be a day surgery, but mine was botched.

Long story, but essentially I spent six days in the hospital, starting on a Sunday, because I woke up in intense pain. Passed out in the emergency due to it and spent most of the time on a dilaudid drip.

Apparently mine just stopped working and it was like a garbage disposal overflowing in my stomach.

Had surgery on a Thursday, but they wouldn't let me go home. Turns out I was having blood pressure shocks and passing out because the doctor nicked me above my abdomen and below my right chest and left me bleeding internally. For the next four days I couldn't even sit up without getting nauseous, I felt like I my heart was going to beat out of my left ear, I'd get dizzy and couldn't see. I swear to God that the only thing that helped me even move was when a buddy came by and let me smoke weed.

My ball sack swelled up to the size of an orange, but the nurse didn't seem to care. My surgeon told me at my follow-up, "that's the worst bruising I've ever seen." It was real bad.

I was his last patient before he moved to Oklahoma. The very last one in his office.

I bring this up for two reasons, there is no "routine" anything when they have to cut you open and don't let Craig Bozeman do your surgery.

Oh, and I have to poop 3-4 times a day now. Invest in the wet wipes.

Unless, youre in intense pain, I advise against it. Everyone that I know that did it had this problem

Youll have to permanently change your diet, and trips are a bitch

Several friends had the surgery up to 3 years ago, and their bowel habits are still causing them difficulties.

Never, NEVER, be too far from a bathroom after surgery
