Do not own either but do own a SP3 and have had several Samsung tabs in the past. I would go with the SP4 as the platform has proven itself already, the Samsung may have a few bugs in its initial launch.
The specs seem pretty close I just believe in avoiding any initial releases if possible. JMHO
