You all can give all the anecdotal evidence that you want. But the research is pretty clear. Research consistently shows that mild corporal punishment past the age of three or so, while reinforcing to the parents because it works in the very short term, leads to increases in aggressive behavior and other problems. Please feel free to downvote the facts.
