re: Baton Rouge nostalgia thread - old, forgotten businesses

I can't remember the ice-cream pallor that was at the corner of Sherwood Forest and I-12. It the shopping center that was behind Burger King and once had a sporting good store in that strip mall. I think it was Fountain something. Had my first real milk shake at that place in the early 80's.

Loved me some Rax roastbeef off of S.Sherwood Forest in 1988. Enjoyed BurgerTime too. Those were the days where I ate like crap but stayed very thin. Can't do that now...lol.
