Is there really no one we can pull out of the state legislature or any principled conservative businessmen in baton rouge that will run against these sleazy clowns?

Would you take the job?

You have to be a sleazy clown to be drawn to politics in the first place.

Why does one have to be conservative? Especially at the local level. Isn't the job of the mayor really to just be a cheerleader for growth and development and step out of the way? Many would say that Kip was a great mayor for Baton Rouge and he's not what you would consider "conservative". But he dresses up in a clown suit (literally) and goes on the road to get business and events to come to your town. That's all you need. Is Delgado that guy? Who cares about his personal life. Wish we had a Kip Holden in New Orleans.
