Jeff Duhe was the typical campus big shot (rumor was he was a "nut not to be cracked by the tap of a lady's fan", in Herman Melville's classic phrase) who ran for student govt, worked at the reveille and God knows what else. He ended up working at LPB -- I don't know where he is now
Jerry Shumaker (or was it Schumacher?) was the wannabe Dylan who played his guitar in the quad. Again, no idea where he is now
I don't really recall Mark Tullis aside from the name and don't recall the girl at all
Anybody remember Sister Cindy?

You are correct on all counts. He definitely had his share of interesting editorials published.

Yep. His entourage at free speech alley became known as 'Jerry's kids' and he was good at making up songs about current LSU personalities.

First non greek sga president in like 20 years and ran a political machine that made huey long stand up in his grave and applaud.

Sga president prior to tullis and was the subject of a rather entertaining shumaker ditty.

I thought that name sounded familiar.

Jed and Cindy are still around. Here's an interview, where they sound a lot more reasonable than one might infer if you only knew them from their campus stunts. LINK
As one might expect, a lot of what they do is exagerrated and meant to be outrageous in order to draw a crowd. If you stand up in a random college quad and start talking, nobody will pay attention unless you act like a circus freak. I don't agree with them on basically anything, but I have a certain amount of respect for them because they take a lot of shite-including occasional violence-and never lose their cool or retaliate.
There are also youtubes of Jed debating atheists in formal settings, and he's a very, very smart guy. Again, I don't agree with him, but credit where due.

He was the station manager of KLSU when I was a dj there. Nice guy.

Jerry Shumaker
Would have him on my show when I couldn't get anybody else to come play and be interviewed.
