Ive fished kona a few times. Its the best area to fish out if. Leave the harbor and you are about 1/2 mile from the wahoo area and then another 1/2 mile you are pulling for marlin. We caught a couple of marlin and deep dropped for AJ's and caught some GTs. I enjoy it but its not Louisiana fishing by any means. Pretty cool to be able to see the beach while reeling in a marlin.
