Details not in the report include a thorough investigation from detectives of Sarasota County. They had unlimited access to the crime scene for over 8 hours, which according to experts from forensics at Stanford University is just long enough for someone to create a faceprint in a couch cushion. It's also believed that Dearman was playing Wii Sports meaning that he most likely would have been standing while playing the video game. Further, his butt sweat was no where on the couch nor was there any indication that he had seen or spoken to the deceased child that day.
There's simply no way to know beyond a reasonable doubt that he committed this crime, and as technology improves, it will mostly likely be revealed to be a set up by the police.
Please click this link to sign the petition to release James Dearman from police custody. If it gets enough signatures, President Obama should take care of it some time this year
