re: Do you let your kids point toy guns at other kids/dogs/etc.?

I teach my kids the same thing. Don't point guns at people. Not even if its a toy gun.

They talked me into getting them air soft guns...when i found out they were shooting at each other w the airsoft guns...i smashed them w a hammer. I'm not going to let one of them 'take an eye out'.

We hunt ducks, doves, deer. I believe guns are to hunt with & to protect yourself & family. Dont point a gun at another person unless you intend to shoot them in self defense.

I work in an ER. I've seen many people with self inflicted wounds when cleaning an alledgedly unloaded gun. That's why i teach my kids...always treat a gun as if it were loaded.
