This is true, but requirement to possess a job is not part of American law.
Companies will always fire someone for getting arrested like this. Companies are not required to keep any employee on staff, much less being required to pay them.

That's too vague. Companies rarely fire for a misdemeanor fight. Drugs, theft, spousel abuse...

Too bad people who get arrested keep there jobs with pay in the real world all the time.
