LF7 has 1 more hurdle

McCaffery had a great game, but still was far away from the almost 400 rushing yards he needed to pass LF7 for the NCAA rushing title.
Only Henry has a shot now, and barring a math fail on my part, he has to get 381 yds =)

You and Nola agree Henry needs 381 yards.

On a couple of thos runs McCaff had really great blocking.
He is NOT a bulldozer runner like Fournette.

McCaferey and Henry run unusually tall for a rb. McCaferey has some moves.

Henry winning the Heisman is a joke. The second average talented Alabama RB to win the award in the past 10 years. This FBS award has it judged correctly. Yards per game as Alabama fed Henry the ball at a ridiculous level towards the end of the season to fatten his stats. Yesterday showed how average he is against a solid defense.

I completely agree with you. McCaffery was robbed. How do you break the single season record for offensive yardage and not win the Heisman? It makes zero sense.

The Heisman is nothing more than a popularity contest and has been for years. It has absolutely nothing to do with who is the best college football player anymore.

In all honesty, if LF7 were targeted more as a receiver, and kept his return duties, he could have similar total yardage stats. People forget LF was the SEC total yds champ his freshman year.

He can easily do what McCaffrey does, but in order for that to happen Miles and Cameron would have to overhaul that antique of an offense and let him do his thing. Fournette has hands that are better than some receivers. He should be frequently catching balls out the backfield to use his explosivenessin space. It's ridiculous how they waste talent on offense. The TE's are not thrown to with any kind of regularity and they are really good pass catching TE's that will make NFL teams. Guice should also be used in a pass catching capacity regularly. It's crazy how they just pound the damn football with that kind of pass catching talent there.

McCaffery has great vision when he runs but LF has the same with more power and speed.

I've been saying this shite ever since the announcement. McCarron was voted 2nd in the heisman behind Winston and McCarron only had a little over 2800 yards and 25 TDs when the award ceremony was held.
Henry getting it over McCaffrey is worst than Ingram getting it over Gerhart.

That's strange. Two Alabama RB's getting the award over two Stanford RB's. And the popularity that you guys mention strictly comes in the form of Nick Saban. If he had been Stanford's coach, McCaffrey and Gerhart win easily.
