I lived in BR 10 years. Neither Jacktown or BR are heaven on earth, but BR wins on traffic congestion.
The suburbs of Jackson are much better than the suburbs of BR. Madison, Ridgeland, Brandon and Clinton are much nicer than Baker, Central, Denham, Port Allen and Prarieville.
