Will you still love him when they get blown out in NC game?

Chavis and recruiting happened. Nothing more nothing Les.

Dabo has outperformed pretty much everyone in the country's expectations, we all thought he was basically a cheerleader who could recruit.

He made the right DC hire, and that has made the difference between a good team that racked up wins against cream puffs, Clemsoned their way out of contention, and couldn't win big games, to a team with a shot to win it all.
Chavis may have been a great DC scheme-wise, but he kept Brick and allowed complacent recruiting to erode what used to be a major talent advantage over the competition. Then we let hm walk and hired a recruiter who isn't that great of a coach.

Jesus you need to stop being such a little bitch about other teams success. Are we Clemson? No? Who gives a shite about their success then.

If LSU played in the ACC, our record would be one or two losses every year....fact.

I really like the guy. I wanted him when the Les talk was going on, but I understand we will eventually have to deal with him at Bama forever after Saban.

Talent levels my friend, people always seem to forget this.
With talent levels being how they are given the specific conference and state the school resides in, Clemson is performing like it should while LSU isn't, and this is a simple fact.
Clemson has been top 3 in recruiting in conference the past 3 years, and has been top 3 in finish in conference record the past 3 years.
LSU has been top 3 in recruiting in conference the past 3 years and has finished 5th or below in conference record the past 3 years.

I think I said something at one point like, "let's not pretend Dabo and Clemson are gonna be competing for the national championship" or something along those lines.
I was trolling, of course, on the sec rant.

Dabo has done awesome. I think they will win it all this year.

Playing in a milk bread conference didn't hurt him, but yes he's done a good job.

Yep. If there's any team in the country this year that is capable of skull dragging Bama from one end of the field to the other for 4 quarters, it's Clemson. Never would have thought I'd say that, but it's a fact.

This is retarded. How about we give him our talent and see how he does against against the SEC?
Our average recruiting rank over the past 3 years is 4.3, their average recruiting rank over that span is 13.3.
And don't act like SEC teams are so high and mighty. Miss St and UGA lost to G Tech last year, Ole Miss lost to TCU last year and Memphis this year. Arkansas lost to Texas Tech and Toledo this year. Florida lost to Georgia Southern and Miami in 2013 and lost to Florida St 3 years in a row. Clemson has beaten up on South Carolina, Bama lost to Oklahoma and Ohio State in consecutive years, LSU has lost to Notre Dame, Clemson as recently as the last couple of year. Tennessee lost to Oklahoma 2 years in a row and Oregon a couple years ago. Mizzu lost to Indiana last year and damn near Connecticut this year. Auburn lost to Wisconsin last year almost to Kansas St, and almost to an FCS team this year.
Even LSU was so damn thankful that Wisconsin lost their two best players in the middle of their defense and Melvin Gordon played hurt in the second half because we just got by them last year.
