This was the worst defense since 2001. Part of that was the lack of depth and talent at certain positions, but let's not pretend that the defense wasn't as equally bad as the offense at times.

November was a low point but for the most part, 2015 offense was better than 2012 and way better than 2014. Hell probably better than 2009/2010

Are you sure?

This defense was no where near as bad as made out to be.

Especially yards wise.. The special teams did it no favors with poor field position the majority of the season..

Also, 2013 was probably worse. I mean they actually cost us games. The offense was beast. We were extremely highly rated (top 5 in the ncaa) a majority of the season vs the run.. and we did give up some points late in some blowouts.

The loss to Auburn a season ago was pretty ugly, and then that bowl game.. WTF..

but I will tell you something about that Notre Dame bowl game.. even though we put up points and the defense wasn't good.. our offense still lost that game IMO.

couple reason why.. ND had like 3 starters on D in that game.. outside of 3 monster plays. we didn't do much offensively.. we could have put that game away..

I remember one play was a busted coverage long td pass.. no one covered the guy.. another was a fournette special teams td.. and i can't remember the other big score.. i think a big fournette run.. but those 3 plays were pretty much all we did.. we had way too many 3 and outs in that game and didn't do much else. We had too many 3 and outs that season. so frustrating.

any ways, enough of my late night ramblings.. please excuse me. i am delirious.
