It's too bad there isn't some kind of vinyl swap meet or something where people could bring their stuff and do some selling, buying or trading. I still buy from time to time but I have tons of old records I wouldn't mind selling off. It would be great if there was a venue for collectors to just bring their stuff in, let people look at it and do some dealing.
I know we don't have that in Baton Rouge but I wonder if they do that sort of thing in other cities?

Great idea, there may even be some kinda group or club that does this. I just recently started looking around at online venues. Very cool to see how popular this old stuff has become with the next generation. Finding actual vintage albums in good condition is an effort.....and some luck.....fun stuff all over again!!

New Orleans has the "Record Raid" and has swaps twice a year where you can buy or sell with other dealers. Lafayette also has the "Acadiana Vinyl Haul" and has had swap meets usually in the spring and fall. Both groups have facebook pages if you want to look into that.
