New machines that dispense a bunch of different drinks??

Is it me, or do these new fricking things that fast food places use, make your favorite beverage taste like shite? My sprite I just got tastes like lemon water. Why can't we just keep it simple and use a normal fountain drink dispenser? I don't want, nor will I ever want, a raspberry flavored coke. Am I alone in this?

Next time tell them to clean the schmegma off of their nozzle. If you soak them overnight you won't have that problem.

Yea it sucks. Sometimes technology isn't a good thing. Some people haven't figured that out. Like automated lines when you call places. They would rather save a buck but it ruins the customer service experience

Don't like em, but I've found it's a little better if after you pick what you want, you just let it flow into the basin for a second before you put your cup in there.

I always run the machine a second before I put my cup under. It doesn't help much, the drink still tastes like shite. I'm not sure if the machine is at fault, or their ratio of carbonated water to syrup is off.

When I used to drink soda I never got them with ice on self serve.
Waters it down quickly and being the drinks are cool anyways, over-icing was never needed.
Last I liked was wild cherry Pepsi.

Sprite zero raspberry says you can enjoy your crappie tasting drink because u refused to rinse it for a second or two before putting your fat paw up there and trying to drain it dry.
Etiquette man. Rinse for 2 seconds and it's gone. If not, it's in need of a rinsing at the hands of the overnight procedures which don't always get handled.

I always get powerade out of them. Always taste fine. I also stick to fruit punch, orange, or grape though.

I don't like them for many reasons, but the biggest is the fact that flavored drinks like Cherry Coke are not actually dispensed from the machine. It is just regular Coke with their version of cherry flavoring added in. Nowhere near as good as an original Cherry Coke.
And also, every machine seems to have the syrup/carbonate ratio way off.

The problem is that unlike a traditional fountain, only one person can use it at a time....and they have to select menus and different options.
It takes longer to get drinks in crowded restaurants with these things.
