It's amazing how good Danielle Hunter is with the proper coaching. He was considered a project when MIN drafted him, now he is the starter. I understand he was baptized by fire when Griffen went down, but he has been solid all year.

It seems like we had more defensive linemen tearing it up

If he had stayed one more year, O would have turned him into a top 10 pick.

That is all good and great, BUT I am a LSU football fan, not a NFL fan! I want them to be at their best at LSU...see Alabama.

I like how you understand the meaning of success. Les is building a program that will be sustained for years and years, not just until he retires.
Do you think the guy following Nick Saban will come close to his success? Nope.
What's funny is that everyone argues about Les being fired and what they didn't think about was how our mindset has changed. People wanted him fired because he wasn't good enough to meet our standards anymore, who built those standards? LSU football was struggling for a very long time before Saban came, did his quick thing that he does before bouncing, then Les Miles grew the program to the level it stands today.
So yes, NFL success is direct correlation to the LSU success. It helps recruiting, National media attention, name recognition, etc...

Great list. I don't think Delvin Breaux should really qualify for "LSU football," but he makes a fine addition to this list. Also, no Ego? I don't really pay as much attention to the NFL, but last I heard, Chicago was really pleased with him.

Thanks for sucking at life. I love when people pretend not to understand slang.
