But getting a bowl game in Houston hotels and tickets ain't that bad and Cody Johnson playing the PREPARTY is pretty awsome

Correct punctuation this time...but I think you mean "hit the nail on the head". There is a saying about putting the final nail in the coffin, but that doesnt really fit here.
