Keebler Grasshoppers are a suitable substitute for Thin Mints.

Heads up for y'all in Southeast Louisiana: the local Girl Scout council will be using a different baker for the 2016 cookie sale (I think pre-sales start in mid-January), so the cookies will be slightly different and may have different names.
They used to use Little Brownie Bakers (a subsidiary of Keebler, which is why Keebler has very similar knock-offs), but they'll be using ABC Bakers. ABC is used by some councils in other parts of the country, so Samoas are called Caramel Delites elsewhere.
Oh, and I think they're making it easier to order cookies online too, but you still may have to have a connection to a dealer--er, Girl Scout-- to do it. I'm not exactly sure how it's supposed to work this year.
