Other than traditional in-state antics, what's up with the hate between UNM and NMSU?
I'm just amazed that state can field two competitive football teams. Lo just do not think of "football" when I think of New Mexico.

They will openly mock each other on state tv shows they also don't play nice together at all.
UNM will at times get fans on a radio/tv segment about NMSU and it becomes jokes about tribes. UNM openly make fun of Tony Samuels (look him up to see why) and Hal Mumme (understandable)
NMSU is a farm high school to UNM also
