Firing someone and laying someone off are two different actions. When I've fired someone it was because they were crap for employees and by the time it got to that point I didn't care any longer. However when financial reasons dictate that someone has to go and they didn't do anything wrong I struggle with the situation.

I dont fire people. I just "fix the glitch". I find its best to just let these things work themselves out on their own.
