I have had to fire three or four over the years. All women.

One, who after plenty of training on how to use our software, was totally faking it that she had become proficient. Took me two months to notice my receivables were down 30%. Then one week, she didn't show up for work for 2 days in a row. No phone call to me, and not taking my calls. A former staffer who had trained this person warned me all along that she didn't think this gal was going to work out, and she was right. Had to let her go.
