Yeah, I watched that game. It was against the Braves in Atlanta and the pitcher was the Braves reliever at that time, Gene Garber.

And, yes, he pitched like it was the seventh game of the World Series, because back then the Braves were losing about 100 games a year and they didn't have much else to play for. So fricking Pete Rose out of getting the record was fricking AWESOME.
