Like any good cook, I don't measure anything out. I would say it is about 50/50 pineapple to soy sauce. I use the small can of pineapple juice. Then I make sure I've got a good bit of black pepper just because I like the spice. I only use about two caps of crab boil. Secret: if I don't have time to fire up the egg then I use some liquid smoke in the marinade.

I don't use wood chips. I have a fire box that is offset from the pit, so I use mesquite split in 1/4 like logs. For a picture look at

There is a damper between the fire box and pit to regulate the temp.
