One more thing about the Triple Option:
It works as long as you're not facing elite defenses that don't overcommit.
Tulane plays maybe 3-4 teams in the next 6-8 years that can claim this much.
I think a few guys are looking at our powderpuff schedule next year and thinking "yeah, I can win 8 games from that mess". A good option team can sweep our nonconference opponents and pile on 4-5 AAC wins along with that.
