What profession gets paid up front, doesn't warranty their work, charges again to repair their own mistakes. They are always ahead of you on the money.
Its impossible to know which ones are good clinicians.

Not all dentists are like this, I had a dental checkup a couple years ago where a filling I had gotten a few years earlier broke and was coming out. My dentist scheduled me for another appointment and fixed the issue free.

Not completely true. Crowns and implants are warranted.
