Freezers and refrigerators are designed to operate in 70 degree environments and struggle when operated outdoors. Appliance life will be affected and it will use more power, but it will work fine.

I have two in my non airconditioned garage. Never had an issue. Both have power indicator lights and I walk by multiple times a day.

Whatever. I have a 30 year old fridge/ freezer that has operated just fine in a garage for 10 years. Do it OP
