That's true. I just transferred to the guard. The Army can't shoot for shite. They just don't teach the fundamentals of marksmanship in basic training.

That's bullshite. I went through basic in the winter of 1990 and it was extremely important to our group of drill sergeants and we had tons of range time. I was 39/40 to earn my expert in marksmanship.
It might be lax on shooting now but back at Ft. Hood they definitely gave a shite and it was a major source of pride between platoons and companies.
