Miles fan, posiTiger, pumper here. If Alleva had done that, i.e. squashed the rumors and the board members had kept their mouths shut we'd likely be where UGA is right now, with Jimbo instead of Smart and I'd be perfectly fine with it.

I now hope that Miles can salvage the Class and right the ship, particularly offensively.

I'm running out of confidence that he will but I'm hopeful and he's earned the right to try.

If we are not in the SEC Championship/Playoffs next year then I'd be ready to move on respectfully.

Have some class and dignity as fans, if you are a booster or otherwise influential, keep your damn fat mouth closed and do what needs to be done behind closed doors and with some class.

My thoughts exactly

This is part of our problem. Some of our biggest boosters are wealthy due to luck more than anything else. Good for them, but the point is they got where they are due to accidental good fortune, and now they think they're important, and they're damn well going to prove it to everybody. That's where leaks come from. Old money knows how to do deal with situations like this. New money doesn't.

I could not agree more. Alleva let the shite show continue. He could have easily put a stop to it and still moved forward with whatever his original plan was.

It seemed as though Alleva liked the shenanigans and didn't care about any damage to LSU that was occurring. We still have a future recruiting class to worry about regardless of who was going to be head coach this week. His actions clearly gave the perception that he didn't give a shite about anything but making Les look bad.

His actions in the last two weeks needs attention and should receive a response from LSU. I personally say good riddance to Alleva and let's find someone who actually cares more about LSU than his ego.

This most of all. If that hot shot member of the BOS keeps his damn mouth shut everything comes out differently. In my opinion, he is to blame for the blow back.
