It's only on the radar this month (if even that much). It may resurface after bowl game depending on outcome.

Respectfully disagree

If in the bowl game and then again in the Wisky game the O is totally predictable and one dimensional and we scrape by as favorites, the football talking heads nationally will be on it.

When Schad's story hit, here was the response:

OMG The Mad Hatter!!
.778
Natl championship
Quirky
Loves LSU
NFLU

The whole country was shocked that we'd consider firing Miles.

Awareness has now been raised by guys like Pollack, Booger and Palmer who actually watch LSU that it wasn't about a 3 game losing streak after 7-0 and "Les can't beat Bama"

If nothing changes by the end of next year we'll have had an entire season of the narrative being:

Uninventive, predictable O
Undisciplined, unfocused team
LSU STILL just lacks a QB
Bert is LSUs daddy
6 in a row to Nick
Miles isn't untouchable

I hope Miles makes some changes to the O, reels in this recruiting class and goes undefeated in 2016.

But if it's more of the same I'm glad the awareness has been raised that the trend is down and Les is accountable.

Find Doc Brown, get in the time machine, go back and win on 01/09/2012...

There is a very vocal segment of our fanbase that will NEVER forgive him for that game. If it was to any other opponent maybe, but to lose in that manner to Alabama & Saban on that stage is something that Les Miles will never be able to correct.

I think we are saying the same thing in a different way. My point is that all this "chatter" will not be continuous from now through next year (national media speaking). On the Rant, I'm sure it will be.

The Mile's story will be picked up depending on next year's record. If a great season, the national media will say how they cannot believe LSU almost fired Miles and the media that said look at trends and not the past will be ridiculed. If Miles has a horrible season, the media that was looking at trends and not the past will say, "I told you so."

But for now, Miles will not be a story, except here and maybe a bit after the bowl game.
