That's so funny you say that cause I told my wife before it came on that I bet a bunch of these "family members" are not really family members. MTV must have been thinking of me when they introduced them and showed pictures and what not. And honestly, without looking at the cast, I thought they would add better looking people. Cohutta's cousin, that one skanky chick that Tony hooked up with and her sister, and Jenna's cousin looked like they had no business being on the show.

There are some unfortunate faces amongst the relatives. I believe they are all really relatives, it seems like that would get sniffed out if it wasn't true. Doesn't mean they were all really close or anything. I have plenty of cousins that I'm not close to.
