Hell, Coker got beat out at FSU. He's doing OK at Bama.

It seems that some of you are simply on these boards to be negative and criticize anything or anyone who dares say something positive

Some of you are simply miserable.

You would think they'd eventually accidentally get it right.

I don't see how having terrible QB play every year is positive either. That's why you try everything and everyone you can. Give someone a chance that can play and has experience. At least you can say you tried. Etling has experience and that's what we desperately need at the QB position. We don't need someone to be elite just serviceable and hit open receivers.

Again, so many of you are quick to say "Harris sucks. Bench him and play someone else" or last year "Jennings sucks. Bench him and start someone else". How about you point your guns at Cam Cameron's inability to develop QBs properly and Les Miles inability to hire an adequate QB coach during the 11 seasons he's been here.

If Etling was black he wouldn't be getting half the attention he is now. I'll leave it at that....

What about the McMillan threads? Is that because he is black?

Some of you people are idiots.

I'm glad we got him. Harris needed a good back up

Harris obviously needed replacing during or shortly after Bama. He had J. Lee syndrome and lost his confidence.

When Austin Appleby wins a national title, Heisman, and goes #1 in the draft that'll be a good comparison.

But Coker stayed with what the coaches were teaching him and he didn't start the season doing so until he got benched...then he did an about face, followed the coaches, and mostly he made up his mind to get tougher and played the best he ever has...BH has done just the opposite...this is not about politics/agendas...open your eyes, boys, and evaluate the situation objectively...personally I was pulling for BH until I could see the regression after a few tough hits and how he reacted...not impressed...hope he gets a chest for his sake...and LSU

Going overboard with your observation. But ok.

Again, this has more to do with Cameron & Miles. Until one or the other is gone or CLM decides to actually look for a QB Coach. The same exact thing will happen every season at LSU.

If he can perfect the toss dive by the spring game we have to start Etling

Absolutely not. He shite the bed vs Alabama, never recovered. Had zero INT's until Alabama, had 5 in the next 4 games.

You sir are an idiot. LSU has had many black QBs and in fact 3 of the last 4 starters have been black. However, I don't give a crap what color they are if they can lead the LSU team and play QB. Harris could be orange with green polka-dots but still would be inaccurate and slow to make decisions. Harris could be a great young man and probably is but he isn't
an SEC caliber QB and no amount of coaching is going to give him ability to play QB that he simply doesn't have.

Why make a big deal out of someone that can't even get on the field. The kid was brought to LSU for a reason and not a season.

I'd have liked to have seen McMillan late in the season. Couldn't have hurt.

How many years have people said this exact thing? Yet they think the players are the issue.

Coach didn't have enough chest for his liking.
