Well since you seem to have alternative opinions, and since I am looking to for small to mid-size trucks, what are you suggesting?
If I were buying one, it'd be the Tacoma. They're built better and hold their value better. I also prefer their styling to the GM offerings. Not a fan of Nissan really, although they are pretty bulletproof from what I've seen over the years, they're just ugly IMO. The GMs are too new for me to consider, and I'm not a fan of what I've seen from GM vehicles after the get a few miles on them.
But I don't have to worry about maneuvering in a small parking garage as someone used as a reason for buying the smaller truck. I prefer the larger cab space and increased capabilities of fullsize trucks. If the smaller trucks were under $30k well equipped, it may be worth the compromise. But they aren't, so they're not an option to me.

Well, with all due respect, I'm not too concerned with what an option is for you as I'm not looking at getting a full-size truck. Your lack of detail in your suggestion of a small to mid-size truck and the fact that you referred back to a full-sized truck leads me to believe that you aren't a reliable source of suggestion for what I am looking for. Thank you for the feedback though.
