Is there anyone in a leadership position at LSU who didn't understand from the get-go the price it would cost LSU to buy out Miles and pay a coach with Jimbo's recent success to jump ship??

Why in the world would a Gov. elect want one of his 1st moves to be denying LSU the right to hire a football coach using private funds??

Why would anyone seriously believe Jimbo was leaving a successful football school where he was winning 93% of his games, being paid well, playing in the ACC to come to LSU and face the power football programs in the SEC yearly??? What agent in the right mind would support such a move other than to get more money out of Fla. St.

Can anyone name a highly successful coach who has left one football power to go directly coach at another?

Not much of this stuff makes a lick of common sense to me, but we are talking bout LSU.
