He doesn't need to eat crow. What he posted was basically accurate until politics reared its ugly head at the last minute.
So he (and others) weren't proven right by any means. Doesn't mean they were on target either, but sure seems like that was the plan.
Why else would Alexander step in with funding issues if A) Miles wasn't being sent packing and B) there was someone else lined up? He just felt like playing captain obvious? No, Alexander went against something. What else would he be going against?
