you realize that you're saying that in order for a qb to be proficient, not good, but just decent enough to be trusted with complex tasks like slants and posts, they require multiple full seasons as a starting qb.

do you watch any other college football? There are now a laundry list of programs that are plugging in virtually unrecruited second and third string qb's and the offense for the team remains damn near the same.

I don't think there's this long lost of first time starting QBs that are blowing the doors off college football.

And actually yes, I am saying that. Having a first time starting QB in the SEC rarely works out great. The defenses are too good.
