It might be. But not compared to Houston at all. Everything you find in Nola can be found in Houston but with a bigger market. Bigger market means you can make more money because you have more customers. Real Estate is a great career, but it can be found anywhere in any city. Also, New Orleans is also built for people with money. If you making less than $30,000 a year, you wont make it. Rent alone wont be no less than $800. Everyone cant afford that. This is why most people in Nola is living with other people. Here is Houston, you can get an apartment for $550. It wont be the best apartment, but its still an option.

Where? I bet you can find a cheaply priced place within the same distance from downtown
And no one is saying Nola has the same job market. I'm disputing what you stated, because as the stats show, it was clearly wrong
