He's a great recruiter, great representative of LSU, great person with an awesome personality, great head figure for the program. Like that we run a pro style system and want to have a dominant rushing attack.
Struggles with adapting to today's game, developing QBs / judging a QBs talent when recruiting, is very stubborn and hard headed, and has a hard time letting someone else calling the offense or maybe it's trusting OCs.
Like just about every coach out there, he's got his good and bad qualities. If he would just let go of the offense and allow someone to come in and implement their own system without having his hands all over the offense, I think it would have a huge impact for the better. And not with just being more successful on the field, but with the fan base as well. Becasue everyone loves him as a person, recruiter, and ambassador to LSU. People have issues with him during games.
But we will see how it all plays out in the future. Hope it's for the better.

That's a fair assessment KG. how have u been? I don't agree with your wording in the 2nd paragraph but it's a fair criticism none the less. Les just needs to find a QB somewhere somehow and then let's see if paragraph 2 holds up. 2013 gives me pause. maybe it's just simply without a decent QB you're screwed either way against these defenses.
He's clearly not a perfect coach but when u add it all up he's pretty dam strong. LSU will be hard pressed to find all those qualities Youve listed in the next coach. Not saying it couldn't happen but that's a lot to ask. I'm with you and hoping for the best starting next year.
