I'm not talking about the entire Miles era. That's irrelevant when discussing the future. The last few years are more telling and we haven't been close to elite.

Bama, Florida State, Ohio St, even Oregon have been elite over that time span. LSU hasn't won a major bowl since 2007. That's a long time when you want to be considered elite.
