Good question. Really hard to say. I would see the arguments on both sides. One of those scenarios is worse case for playoff committee. Same as some scenarios that were possible with the BCS from time to time.
Eventually one will happen like that. But there is always a worse case scenario for something that is opinion driven and not truly record driven like the major league sports are.

1 loss Ohio State would be a possibility over a 2 loss SEC champ. Would have been interesting.

I think it could've started a huge national conversation about the elimination of conference championship games because a lot of people would be asking "what's the point?"
