Yep. We have basically said we are fine with competing for 3rd best team in the conference. I was amazed tonight in the stadium. People in my section who have cursed Miles for the past 2 years and booed loudly at his play calling were up cheering for him and giving him a standing ovation and chanting "Les"! Can anyone please give me one reason why we should expect anything to change?

I was one of those people cheering for Les, out of respect for what he has done in the program. I want Les to be able to go out on a positive note. But if we want to have a team that can compete for the SEC title and for national championships most years, Les is not the coach to do it.

Last night served as a reminder of how incredibly short most people's memories are. They see Les the good family man, not Les the sleezy guy that on 3 occasions played LSU like a 2 dollar whore and milked the school for more money.

Yeah, and you know, the whole not letting your OC coach while you run a 1970's offensive scheme thing. The list for letting Les go is much longer than the list for keeping him, especially in the last 5 years.

Alleva should be gone for the way this was handled, but Les should be packing his bags this morning.
