It is my belief he has to be because as a coach he's been compromised by all this.
Recruits aren't going to buy that he'll be here for 4 years.
Coordinators who could come in aren't going to uproot for a possible 1 year deal etc.
IMO, once you start the ball rolling you have to go with it for better or for worse, because if you don't, you are toast anyways.
