Mentality of a lot of posters now...
I loved LSU until Alabama beat us now I see it was all fake and LSU has been exposed. Les was lucky to backdoor into a national championship, LSU won't win again under Les,

It depends. I give credit to the man for all he has accomplished. I still like him, and wish he had been willing to change. If he had, more of us would still be in his corner. As for backing into a title, hell, plenty of coaches have done that. Fulmer had more lucky breaks in 98 than any team I've ever seen, and even the great Saban backed his way into 1/9/2012. It still counts.
I've been running on hope that Les would find the right staff again for a few years. I thought he did it with Cam, who started out great. However, when he hired Steele, I really started to wonder. I still held out hope that a more aggressive defense would be better, and that O's D Line expertise would balance him out. I think we all see now that it was a bad hire. Without a great defense, Les doesn't win big. He never has.
I'm not one of those who has jumped off the Les Miles bandwagon to turn around and curse his entire tenure and trash everything about him. His accomplishments are still his, and after the Hallman years, I will remember them and him fondly. I just think it's time to move on now.
