Gotcha. Is there a little bit of oil used for the crust? Or no oil at all? I fry every year, but honestly, it's a hassle cleaning up with all the oil, and I feel like I have to fry 3-4 minimum before it's worth doing. And now, nobody really to fry for.

Been wanting to make a change but just never looked into it because I figured it was some sort of half arse method that only yankees would do and think it was delicious with some shitty pot roast and potatoes or something.

I had exactly the same thoughts as you, but they come out pretty good. Cleaning the "fryer" is kind of a PITA, but still not as bad as the oil.
