While I think the Leupold VX-II is one of the best scopes at its price point, that's where it ends for me and the gold rings. The VX-3 is a nice scope but better glass (like the Meopta) is available for similar coin.
If you can still find one, the old Zeiss Conquest was an awesome scope for the money.
