Harlabos on Simmons' podcast talked about how it seems like the Spurs are actually going against the grain right now trying to play two bigs and slowing down their pace a bit. They jokingly said they would never expect the Spurs to build a roster just to beat one team, but it sort of looks like they are trying exactly that to beat the Warriors.

Well GSW is young and have a lot of their core locked up so you can't really blame the Spurs if they are trying to build a roster to beat them.

Well they also said it is mainly the Spurs just building their roster for the future too. You could just maybe look to how they are playing right now as more of a way to beat the Warriors.

My major cause for concern with the front court of Timmy and LaMarcus is will they be able to survive the quick ball movement action and p&r game of GSW. Timmy isn't getting any older, and while he is still a good low post defender, I wonder if GS forces him to defend the high P&R. Also, LaMarcus has never really been known as a great defender. Maybe the Spurs can really attack the offensive glass with those two and Kawhi.

So Lowe wrote about this the other day. He basically said teams are saying okay you attack the offensive glass, but if you don't get the rebound we have a 5v3 on the other end.

The Grizz had a ton of success doing this against the Hawks in a game last year, but it hasn't really worked at all against the Warriors.
