That was for the hire before Saban. Do you recall all the pie in the sky names when Dinardo was fired? Spurrier, Shanahan, just delusional bullshite. I don't think that the Jimbo rumors at this point are quite at that level of delusion, but I remain convinced this is all a big Sexton ploy.
Maybe it isn't - but I still can't fathom such a move. If Jimbo was in his first or second year at FSU and things weren't going so well - maybe. Not now. Not with the programs on relatively even terms. Heck, taking off the purple and gold colored glasses - FSU might be a slightly better job, because it is a top tier program NOT in the SEC West.
