If he's been talking to the staff about this for a month, it has nothing to do with the Miles losing his job talk.

I get that...but Miles wasn't staying here forever. It was going to inevitably happen. Guess it would give the hypothetical staff time to form new relationships with pipelines and Dylan Moses.
Imagine if Miles stays, who is going to commit in the '17 class to a lame duck coach?
