When I had mine taken out, I took the oxys for about a week. Then I realized I was just pretty much taking them for the high. It dawned on me I wasn't in pain....so what was making me want them...

I'm not worried about it, I don't have an addictive personality. It doesn't feel good enough to warrant the risk of spending money and buying them illegally, and losing my job over a drug test. I guess addicts think it is worth the risk but it would never be a problem for me
Although, when I was recovering from knee surgery the summer after high school, I had gone through 3 bottles of prescribed oxycodone. When I ran out, I had a sleepless night of cold sweats. So the stuff is physically addictive.
